Joplin features
- Multimedia Notes. Images, videos, PDFs and audio files are supported. Create math expressions and diagrams right from the app. Take photos using the mobile app and save them to a note;
- Work together. With Joplin Cloud, share your notes with friends, family or coworkers and work on them together. You can also publish a note to the web and share the URL with others;
- Save web pages as notes. Use the Web Clipper extension, available in Chrome and Firefox, to save web pages or create screenshots as notes;
- Customize the app. Customize the app with plugins, custom themes, and a few text editors (Rich Text or Markdown). Or create your own scripts and plugins using the Extension API;
- Access your notes from your computer, phone, or tablet by syncing them with a variety of services including Joplin Cloud, Dropbox, and OneDrive. The app is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. A terminal app is also available;
- The app is open source and your notes are saved in an open format, so you will always have access to them. Uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to protect your notes and ensures that no one but you can access them;
- Joplin Cloud is based in France. This means your data is protected by the strict privacy laws of the European Union. In addition, Joplin Cloud implements strong end-to-end encryption, so even we can’t access your data.
